PE Uniforms

To purchase PE uniforms click HERE.

All students that need to buy PE clothes can purchase them from either Ms. Black (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday) or Mrs. Knowles (Thursday and Friday). They are both located in the front office. Please print out your receipt and give to Mrs Burns or Mrs Hill.

Spring Middle School

Speech and Debate Workshop

 

Do you want to learn to win arguments, present your ideas effectively, and feel confident when the teacher calls on you to read in class? Come to our workshop! We’ll be teaching the ins and outs of Congressional Debate and the importance of Public Speaking!!

Taught by the award-winning CHS Speech and Debate Team-ranked in top 1% in the nation!

 

Cost: $40.00

Dates: Mondays, May 1, 8, 15 and 22

Time: 2:45pm-4pm Location: Carlsbad High Speech and Debate Team Room 806

Tickets are only $30 and Park hours are extended two extra hours on this day only. Schools will be performing in the Park in various locations, including CHS Drumline, Magnolia Lion Country Singers, Calavera Hills Coyote Productions and Lancer Dancers with more to come!

 

The money donated back to CEF from LEGOLAND through Celebrate Carlsbad Day ticket sales has totaled more than $700,000 over the years, all toward music—specifically Science Days this year. We know how much the students LOVE Science Days!

CUSD will host a 5 week series of workshops focused on safety, awareness, prevention and mindfulness. Learn useful, up-to-date information on issues impacting children including texting and driving, responsible social media use, latest trends with drugs and alcohol, and ways for teens to handle stress.

 

All workshops will take place at the Carlsbad Police Department Safety Conference Center located at 2560 Orion Way, Carlsbad, CA 92010. These workshops are open to CUSD parents, students and the community.

Topic: This workshop will introduce the scientific background regarding the physical and mental effects of stress and mindfulness as it applies to teens. The workshop will include practices that focus on 3 strands: 1) self care techniques, 2) resiliency, and 3) full presence.
